UA Citizen’s Drug Watch has led initiatives to combat drug abuse, terrorism, and bullying through educational seminars. On February 27, 2025, "Safe Minds, Safe Spaces" empowered students with awareness and prevention strategies. Earlier, on September 16, 2023, "Droga at Terorismo ay Tuldukan" promoted informed decision-making for a drug-free society. On October 16, 2022, "Through the Righteous Path" emphasized integrity and responsibility in combating substance abuse. Through these efforts, UA CDW remains committed to fostering a safer and well-informed community.
"One of the most meaningful parts of leading the organization was seeing how the students grew into their roles as leaders. What really stood out to me was discovering the different strengths and hidden talents of our young student leaders. It was inspiring to see how passionate and committed they were when it came to organizing events and fulfilling their responsibilities, especially knowing that they were doing it not just for the sake of the organization, but to promote a really important cause. It made me proud to witness how they worked together, overcame challenges, and took ownership of their tasks as true advocates. Those moments really made the experience special and unforgettable.
Looking back at those experiences, I can honestly say that I’m very proud of everything UA CDW has achieved.
I’ve seen the hard work and dedication they put into every project and initiative,
especially when it comes to raising awareness about drug abuse and other harmful
practices that affect the youth. My hope is that they continue what they’ve started
and stay true to their mission. I wish for them to keep growing as student leaders and
to continue being a positive influence in the lives of other young people. I believe
they have the potential to make an even greater impact in the future."
